Description
Old Brook Farmhouse is a house that was originally a farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and incorporating an earlier building, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a shingle roof. The building faces the road and is two stories tall with four bays, along with added wings at the rear. The front of the house has eight 16-pane flush frame sash windows that were altered in the 19th century, and there is a planked door situated between the right bays, leading to a baffle entry. To the far right, there is a 20th-century single-storey hipped projection. The house displays a heavy cornice with an egg and dart design, likely from the 18th century but possibly added in the 19th century. The eaves of the hipped roof overhang, and there is a ridge stack located to the right of the center, along with projecting stacks on the right hip and at the rear of the left bay.
