Description

This stable, now used as a store, dates from the early 19th century and is located 20 yards west of Gavelacre Farmhouse. It is a rectangular building with extensions on one side and one end. The walls are constructed of brick with horizontal flint panels, featuring full-height openings that include both upper and lower doorways. The main block and one end have a tile roof, while the side extension has a slate roof and boarded walls. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
