Description

This stable, dating from the 18th century, is located to the rear and west of Mansion Farmhouse. It is constructed of gault brick and features a corrugated sheet roof, with coped gables and tumbled-in brickwork. The building is single storey with a loft and has two doorways that are set under cambered brick arches. There is a central blocked doorway with a loft entry above, which is partly visible as a dormer above the eaves level. Inside, the stable has chamfered spine beams and heavy joists, and part of the roof remains intact. This structure is included for its group value with Mansion Farmhouse.
