Description

This is an 18th-century house located in Little Downham, originally known as Hythe Farmhouse. The house is constructed of gault brick, originally with a thatched roof which has since been replaced with corrugated covering. It has brick stacks, one at the left end above a coped gable and another centrally on the ridge. The house is single-storey with an attic. The front has three windows, each with 8/8 sashes set beneath cambered brick arches. Three gabled dormers are visible above the main roofline, each containing a 2/2 sash window. A four-panel door is positioned centrally to the left side of the front elevation. The interior features chamfered spine beams and wall cupboards within one room, one of which has a splat-baluster ventilation panel above.
