Description

Tower Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 15th century, with walls from the Bishop of Ely's Palace to the west and north incorporated into a 19th-century building. It features gault brick and 15th-century red brick, topped with a plain tile roof that has end stacks and a ridge stack to the right of center. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of three bays. On the ground floor, there are three recessed sixteen-paned hung sash windows set in cambered brick arches, and the main entrance is through a closed, gabled porch that contains a four-panelled door. The first floor has three twelve-paned hung sash windows.
