Description

Nos. 68 and 70 on Main Street are early 18th-century cottages. They are constructed from painted and rendered local brick, red brick, and reused stone, topped with pantiled roofs. The buildings are one storey with an attic and feature a lower range to the west. The gables have tumbled corbelled parapets, with a stack at the right end and a ridge stack. There is a boarded door to the left of centre and three three-light casement windows set in segmental brick arches, along with three 20th-century casement dormer windows. Inside, the cottages have exposed floor frames and inglenook hearths.
