Description

Holmwood Mews is a former stable block that has been converted into a dwelling. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of brick with a slate roof. The building features a symmetrical front with one storey on either side and two storeys in the centre, comprising two windows on the sides and one in the middle. The hipped roof has spaced coupled eaves brackets and a central gable above a slightly projected centerpiece. The walls are made of yellow brick laid in Flemish bond and include an eaves fillet, arched openings, and an upper arched opening that is partly within the gable, situated above a cambered carriage entrance. The windows and the central glazed doorway are recent additions.
