Description
Court Barn is a former stable that has been converted into a house, dated 1746, with some late 18th century extensions and late 20th century alterations. The building is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a tiled roof.
The main block is aligned parallel to the road and has a short gabled range that projects towards the road. The entrance front faces north and features a gabled main block with a band over the second floor and stone quoins. It is two storeys high and includes a small circular vent made of stone in the gable. There is one window with a stone architrave, a segmental head, and a keystone, which contains a 20th century two-light casement. On the ground floor, to the left, there is a single-light 20th century casement under a brick segmental head with a keystone. To the right, the entrance features a pilastered stone doorcase with a flat canopy supported on consoles and an eight-panel door. The range to the left has a moulded stone cornice.
