Description
Court Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a machine tile roof. The building is two storeys high and features a moulded stone cornice and stone quoins on the left side. There are five windows, which include two-light casements under rubbed brick heads with fluted keystones, while the central window is blind.
On the ground floor, there are two three-light casements under segmental heads that replace four previous windows, flanking the central entrance. The entrance features a stone doorcase with a pediment, a moulded architrave with a keystone, and a six-panel door, of which the upper two panels are glazed. Additionally, remnants of a moat can be found around the house.
