Description

Lower Hollin Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with an extension built in the early 19th century and some alterations made in the mid-20th century. The farmhouse is constructed of brick and has a roof covered in machine tiles. It is two storeys high and features a dentilled brick cornice. The front elevation has three windows: two three-light casements flanking a two-light casement, all set beneath segmental brick arches with keystones. The ground floor has two windows, a tripartite sash window to the left and a three-light casement to the right. The central entrance is sheltered by a wooden doorcase with a dentilled cornice and a radially glazed fanlight above a four-panel door.
