Description
The Old Barn is a late 17th-century barn that has been converted into a house, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded on a brick plinth, topped with a tiled roof and internal gable-end stacks. The barn consists of four framed bays that are aligned north to south, with a former threshing floor located to the north of the center. The building is two storeys high and has two 2-light casements from the 20th century. The threshing floor is marked by vertical boarding and includes a long casement on the ground floor. There is an entrance to the right, which leads through a single-storey extension added in the 20th century. The barn is included in the listing for its group value with nearby structures.
