ELMBRIDGE CP PURSHULL GREEN SO 97 SW 3/36 The Old Cottage

  • II Cottage. C17 with mid-C19 and c1976 restorations. Timber-frame with rendered infill, machine tile roof. Two framed bays aligned east/west, C19 brick wing to north, rebuilt c1976; main stack to east end of timber- frame part, of brick. One storey with gable-lit attic; two windows, late C20 2-light casements; flanking roughly central entrance with gabled porch. Framing: three square panels high, with straight tension braces.
