Description
Pear Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a plain tile roof. A large brick stack with a detached shaft is located at the rear right corner of the building. The cottage is one and a half storeys high, with an attic that is lit by a 20th-century gabled dormer. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century casement windows, and to the left, there is a late 20th-century gabled extension. The framing consists of three square panels high to the wall-plate with straight tension braces, and the gable is positioned over the stack.
