Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has undergone some later alterations. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a plain tile roof, along with rebuilt brick end stacks. The cottage has a two-cell plan and is one storey high with an attic, which is illuminated by two gabled dormers in the roof slope. The framing consists of irregular square and rectangular panels. To the left and right of the central door, there are 20th-century metal casements. The cottage also has an early 20th-century gabled porch, which was damaged at the time of the re-survey in 1984. Mid-20th-century extensions to the right are not included in the listing.
