Description

This is a dovecote located east of Ridgend Farmhouse, built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a dentilled eaves cornice and a pyramidal tiled roof with vents at the apex. The dovecote has a square plan. On the north elevation, there is a planked door and a wood mullioned window at ground floor level, along with a central planked door above; all the windows and doors have cambered heads. Inside, there are wooden nesting boxes for approximately 100 birds.
