Description

No. 8, King Street is a late 18th-century house. The building is constructed of stucco and has a slate roof. It presents a symmetrical three-window front (south-west) over two storeys. The roof is hipped. The windows are sash windows in reveals; the ground floor has three-light frames with Victorian sash windows. A Greek Doric doorcase with a cornice, frieze with circular decoration, and half-columns provides the entrance, which has a Victorian six-panelled door.
