Description

These houses, numbered 4 and 6 King Street, are early 19th-century buildings that have been used as offices. They are constructed of stucco with a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic, and have five windows on the upper floor. Number 4 has two flat-roofed dormers. The walls are plain, with a parapet featuring coping stones and a moulded band, as well as a plinth. The windows are sash windows set in reveals; number 6 has casement windows above a three-light sash window. The 20th-century Georgian doorcases have cornices supported by brackets, fluted pilasters, and panelled doors.
