Description

No. 7 King Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tile roof. The symmetrical front, facing north-east, has two storeys and an attic with three windows. The red brick walling is laid in Flemish bond and includes blue dressings, quoins, a projecting band at the first floor, red rubbed flat arches over the ground floor, and a cement plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, with three-light casements on the ground floor. The doorway is notable for its wide moulded cornice supported by carved brackets, an architrave, and a six-flush-panelled door.
