Description

No. 3 Queen Street is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tile roof. The symmetrical front, facing north, has two storeys and three windows. The red brickwork is laid in Flemish bond, and there are brick dentil eaves along the top. The ground floor has rubbed arches, with blue headers positioned below the cill level, and a plinth at the base. The windows are Victorian sashes set within architraves. On the west side, there is a late 19th-century bay with casement windows and a continuous fascia, along with a dentil cornice above a plain doorway that features a half-glazed door.
