Description
The Lodge at Wellesbourne Hall is a stable block that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a hipped roof covered with old tiles, along with a 20th-century chimney. It has a long rectangular plan and is a single storey plus an attic, with a five-window range. There are three entrances: one on the left with a 20th-century door and two on the right with plank doors. The windows consist of 2-light and 4-light casements, and there is a gabled dormer with a leaded casement, as well as two 20th-century skylights. A clock turret with a cupola and weather-vane adds to its character. Inside, the right part of the building retains stalls with mangers.
