Description
3, 5 and 7 Church Walk is a house that has been converted into three separate homes. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and has been refronted at a later date. The building is made of painted brick, with some areas of exposed timber-frame, and features a steeply pitched thatched roof with a brick chimney on the front ridge and another at the end.
The exterior consists of a single storey plus an attic. The entrance, located to the right of the center for No. 7, has a segmental-headed design with a plank door and flanking segmental-headed windows that contain 2-light small-paned casements. There is also a raking dormer with a similar casement. The left side of the building, which is the entrance for No. 3, has a 20th-century door, a 20th-century casement window, and a weatherboarded gable. The rear has a brick outshut. The right side features some exposed stone and timber-framing, along with two small lights that have small-paned iron casements and a 20th-century brick lean-to outshut. The interior has not been inspected.
