House, at one time 2 dwellings. Early and late C17, altered C19 and C20. Timber frame on brick base. Rendered, left gable end brick cased. Steeply pitched thatched roof. 5 bay lobby entry in 2 builds, 3 bays to left earlier. 1 storey and attic. Ground floor: steps up to entrance to right of centre, raking hood with slates, three 3 light lattice casements with cornices, one of 2 lights to left of centre replacing an earlier entrance. Five 2 light lattice dormers with raking thatched heads. A ridge stack behind entrance with a rebuilt cap. Left end stack. Exposed plates and purlins. Similar casements and dormers to rear. Interior: exposed framing, passing tension braces, jowled posts, clasped purlin roof with curved windbraces in left bay.
