Description

RUSHDEN MILL END TL 3031 10/31 Old Mill Cottage GV II House, formerly 2 dwellings. Late C17 or early C18, altered C20. Timber frame, weatherboarded and roughcast. Thatched roof. Originally two contiguous 2 cell lobby entries. 1 storey and attic. Original doors blocked with a single entrance to centre. 2 and 3 light C20 casements, flush frames, leaded lights, weatherboarding below sill level. Four 2 light dormers, leaded, thatched eyebrows. 2 ridge stacks. Right gable end to road has a ground floor 2 light and first floor single light casement in a steeply pitched roof. Original continuous lean-to rear outshut under a catslide roof, two C20 entrances. Hipped roof to left end over a C20 addition with an open ground floor and a first floor balcony on timber supports.
