Description

No. 10 Southleigh Road is a pair of former cottages dating from the 18th century. They were originally a symmetrical pair. The construction is primarily brick, with a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high with four windows. The roof is hipped, with lower eaves at the end outshots and a catslide at the rear. The brick walls are red, laid in Flemish bond with blue headers, up to the former eaves level. Above this, the brickwork is also in Flemish bond, with boarded walling to the outshots. The windows are casements. There are two plain, boarded doors.
