Description

Warblington Castle Cottage is a house, now divided into a pair, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stone, with brick at the rear, and features a tiled roof. The symmetrical front, facing south, has two storeys and three windows, with the centre window being blank. The exterior is made of roughly-coarsed ashlar, sourced from the ruins of Warblington Castle, and includes hood-moulds above the openings. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway. At the rear, there are two storeyed extensions on either side that create the two units; these extensions have stone outer walls, stone gables, and brick inner walls.
