Description
No. 8 Church Walk is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a single house, likely built in the late 18th century. The building features a brick facade in Flemish bond with ashlar quoins. It has a thatched roof with a gabled left side and a half-hipped right side, along with brick stacks located on the left and near the center. The brickwork displays diamond patterns created by flared headers. The house is two stories tall and has four irregularly placed windows. The ground floor openings have segmental brick heads with stone keystones. On the upper floor to the left, there are two likely 18th-century, two-light casements with leaded lights. The upper floor to the right features probably 19th-century two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. The ground floor includes 20th-century two-light casements with glazing bars and a part-glazed door from the 20th century.
