Description

Little Thatch is a cottage, likely built in the late 18th century. It features a brick facade in Flemish bond with some flared headers, ashlar quoins, and rubble side walls. The roof is thatched, with a gabled left side and a half-hipped right side, and there is a brick stack at one end. The rear slope of the roof continues down as a tiled cat-slide. The first floor displays diamond patterns made from vitrified bricks. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. The ground floor openings are topped with segmental brick heads that have stone keystones. The windows are 18th-century casements with leaded lights. There is a 20th-century open, gabled porch with a plain plank door.
