Description

No. 9 Rectory Road is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a single cottage, likely dating from the early 18th century. The building features a ground floor made of banded brick and flint, with a rendered upper section. It has a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the left side and gabled on the right. There are end brick stacks, and the cottage is one and a half storeys tall with a four-window range. The windows are 2 and 3-light casements, some of which have full glazing bars while others have horizontal glazing bars. The entrance includes a 20th-century door beneath an open, thatched porch.
