Description

Nos 22, 24, and 26 on High Street are a range of cottages dating from the 17th century, which were rebuilt in the early to mid 19th century. The lower part of the building is constructed from rubble, with brick corbelled out above. The end walls are made of flint and feature raised eaves. The roof is covered with Roman tiles and has gabled ends, with brick stacks located at both ends and to the right of the center. The building is two stories tall and has approximately six windows. The windows include two and three-light casements, some of which are made of cast iron and have glazing bars. There is a central open porch that dates from the 19th century.
