Description

East Farmhouse is a house dated 1622, built from two 17th century constructions. It features flint and squared rubble with ashlar dressings. The roof is thatched and gable-ended, with brick stacks at both ends and an additional stack to the right of the front door. The house has two storeys and a four-window range. The central and right windows on the ground floor and the central upper floor have three-light casements with glazing bars. The other upper floor windows are also three-light casements, but with horizontal glazing bars. The left ground floor window is similar but has two lights and features some medieval tracery reset above it. There is a low, probably 18th century door with three vertical panels. A half-hipped wing is located at the rear.
