Description

Glebe Court is a house dating to 1753. It is constructed of banded brick and flint, with ashlar detailing. The roof is tiled, with stone-slate verges and brick stacks. The building comprises two parallel ranges. The south front was originally symmetrical with five bays, but the two western bays are now partially obscured by a 19th-century canted bay window. The house has two storeys and an attic. It features sash windows with moulded stone architraves and keystones. A doorway has an eared architrave and a partly-glazed door. A moulded stone cornice sits at the roofline. The north facade is symmetrical with three bays, displaying segmental-headed sash windows with stone keystones. A central round-headed doorway is flanked by a Gibbs surround.
