Description

Pound Cottage is a late 18th-century building located on Pound Green in Baughurst. It features a regular front elevation facing east, consisting of two storeys and four windows. The cottage has a tile roof that is half-hipped at the south end and includes a catslide roof at the rear. The walls are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with a band at the first floor and cambered openings on the ground floor. The windows are casements, and there is a six-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed, set in a plain frame. At the south end, there is a modern garage block that is set back and has a larger hipped roof.
