Description
The George and Dragon Public House is an 18th-century building located on Townsend Road in Baughurst. It has two storeys and features four windows on its north-facing front. The roof is half-hipped and covered with tiles, with a catslide extending to part of the rear. The walls are made of painted brick and include a band at the first floor, cambered openings on the ground floor (some of which have been altered), and a plinth. The windows are sash style. There are two doorways, each with a panelled door that is topped by a large moulded canopy supported by carved brackets.
