Description
Stoneyheath Lodge is a late medieval hall house dating from the 16th and 18th centuries, featuring one cross-wing. The building is timber framed, with later replacements of the lower walls. It has one storey and an attic, with irregular window arrangements. The roof is tiled and includes gabled half-dormers and a shafted stack. The upper walling exposes the framing, which is complemented by red brick infill and other walling materials. The projecting wing on the south side likely had a jettied design. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway located beneath a modern tiled canopy.
