Description

Oakfield Cottage is an early 18th century L-shaped cottage located on Balcombe Road in Pound Hill. The building stands two storeys tall, with a ground floor constructed of brick and an upper floor that is tile hung, featuring alternating courses of plain and pointed tiles. The south end of the west range is weather-boarded. The cottage has a tiled roof, which is complemented by 18th century brick chimney stacks. It also includes two wooden casement windows and a simple doorcase.
