Description

The garden wall and entrance to Worth Training Centre, located on Balcombe Road in Pound Hill, date from the late 18th century. The wall is constructed of large dressed stone blocks and stands about 6 feet high, featuring a tooled cornice. On the side facing Turner's Hill Road, there is a pedestrian entrance that includes a stone pediment, a hood supported by brackets, and a moulded architrave.
