The garden wall attached to the front of Pennywells dates from the 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of roughly-dressed stone and stands approximately 3 feet high, featuring ridge coping and gate piers. There is a section of random rubble to the left, which is not considered of special interest. This wall is included in the listing for its group value with the associated building.
