Description

The garden wall and end piers in front of Number 23, known as The Old Hall, date from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble and feature a low front wall topped with triangular coping stones. The wall has an off-centre gateway and square-plan end piers that are capped with pyramidal tops. Short return walls are ramped where they meet the house. A rubble wall beyond the right end pier is not of special interest. This structure is included for its group value.
