Description

The garden wall located to the southwest of Number 231 on Kells Lane dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a flat coping. The wall is very high, serving as a retaining wall in its lower sections, and gradually becomes lower as the external hill rises. The raised corner on the south side is ramped down as it returns to the east.
