Description

Beaurepaire Mill House is a mill house built around the 1870s or 1880s. It features a red brick ground floor in Flemish bond with weatherboarding above. The roof is a clay plain tile, gable-ended, and has two spans with overhanging eaves and verges, adorned with ornate pierced bargeboards and finials. The building has brick axial stacks with corbelled brick tops.

The house has a rectangular double-depth plan with an entrance at the center of the north side and an extension on the west side, showcasing a Victorian Picturesque style. The north front is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with an additional bay on the right. There is a central doorway flanked by sidelights, leading to a panelled door and a 20th-century open porch, with windows on either side. Above, there are three gabled oriels that extend through the eaves, supported by shaped brackets and featuring ornate pierced bargeboards with spike finials and pendants. All windows are 2-light casements with lozenge-shaped panes. The right-side addition has a similar window on the ground floor and a gable above.

The east side has two large gables, a small center gable, and similar casements. The south elevation features three similar casements on the ground floor and two gabled oriels above, resembling those on the north front, along with a 20th-century extension projecting on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
