Description

No. 118 on High Street is a small 17th century cottage constructed of brick with a tiled roof featuring gable ends. The building has one storey and an attic. On the ground floor, there are two new casement windows with leaded panes set in segmental-arch openings. The central entrance consists of an old two-panel door within a moulded door frame, sheltered by a wide flat brick gabled porch. The attic includes two small gabled dormers, each with two-light leaded pane casements. A large chimney stack is located at one end, topped with a tall brick shaft. This cottage is part of a group of listed buildings along High Street, which includes No. 118.
