Description

The raised pavement retaining wall along the north-west side of High Street is a stone structure featuring York paving stones. It includes modern steel-tube railings and, in some areas, steps leading from the road, which are complemented by Victorian cast iron handrails in front of properties No 118 and No 106. Additionally, there are early 19th century hand railings with turned newels for the steps in front of No 113A.
