Description

No 1 High Street is an 18th-century building constructed from red brick with blue headers. It has two storeys, an attic, and a basement, topped with a slate roof. The front features three windows, with the center window being narrow and blocked. The two outer windows were originally sash windows but have been replaced with modern casements that include glazing bars. A brick string course runs along the first floor level. On the left-hand side, there are three additional windows and two attic windows, with steps leading up to a new panelled door. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along High Street, extending up to and including No 118.
