GV Nos 1 and 2 form a single block with a continuous roof line. No 2 is a C18 house with a red and blue brick front. Two storeys and attics. Three window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased frames. A central four-panel door has a doorcase with pilasters, a moulded semi-circular arch with a blocked fanlight and a cornice. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. Gabled wings extend at the rear. Roof tiled, with three gabled dormers to the whole block.

Nos 1 to 3 (consec) with Nos 9 and 12 Lodge Road form a group.
