Description

1 The Green is an early 19th-century house that is timber-framed and plastered. It has two storeys and a single-storey addition at the west end. The main house features a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars. The west addition includes two early 19th-century shop windows with glazing bars and a 20th-century blank screen wall above the windows that extends up to the eaves level of the house. The roof is covered with slate. This building is part of a group of listed buildings around The Green, which includes Nos 8, 10, 38, 52, and 25, recognized for their local interest.
