Description
35 The Green is a small 18th century timber-framed and plastered house that has undergone 19th century and later alterations. The front is made of painted brick, while the rear features some weatherboarding. The house is two storeys high with attics and has a two-window range, featuring double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars set in plain reveals. There is a central four-panel door, which is sheltered by a 20th century portico supported by plain columns, and flanked by 19th century canted bay windows. The roof is tiled and includes two gabled dormers. The front of the house is enclosed by 19th century cast iron railings.
