Description

White Bears is a timber-framed and plastered house originating from the 16th century, built on an L-shaped plan with a gabled wing at the north end. The building was altered in the 18th century and has two storeys. It features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. A 20th-century three-panel double door is present, adorned with an architrave and a cornice supported by brackets. The roof is tiled. White Bears is part of a group of listed buildings in St John's Green.
