Description

12 Lodge Road is an early 19th century brick house that has been colour washed. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window range on the north-west front, with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars and plain reveals. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, which is approached by steps and topped with a rectangular fanlight. This entrance is flanked by panelled pilasters and has a cornice hood supported by paired brackets. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are wings that extend at the rear. This building, along with Nos 9 and 12, and Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) Romans Place, forms a group.
