Description

Stoke House is an early 19th-century brick house that has been colourwashed. It stands two storeys tall and features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in plain reveals. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a plain rectangular fanlight, which is sheltered by a Tuscan portico supported by partly fluted columns (plain at the base) and adorned with a cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. Stoke House is part of a group of listed buildings on The Street, which includes Green Farmhouse, The Green (Lower).
