Description

The Vicarage is an early 19th century painted brick house featuring pilaster treatment on the southwest and southeast fronts. It is two storeys high, with a three-window arrangement on the southwest front and a one-two-one window arrangement on the southeast. The central part of the two-window range on the southwest front projects forward. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals with blind boxes. A central doorway on the southwest front is adorned with a Doric portico that has fluted columns and a modillion cornice. The southeast front includes French casement windows on the ground storey and a latticed verandah with pointed arches and a slate roof. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
